I am very proud to launch my new business, having spent 25 years in the construction industry. I am now following my dream and 5 years after qualifying as a Drone Pilot, looking forward to sharing my skills with a great and unique service . Ultimately anything goes with drones, the list of applications is endless.

I have work lined up doing Golf course fly overs to give prospective golf members an idea of the course layout. A Motocross organisation requires live, action footage for its website. We are doing work with football clubs to film matches for  'after match analysis'.

As a PfCO holder (Permission for Commercial Operation no. 8977 –  (a drone licence) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) enables iDRONE to legally undertake commercial drone work within the UK.

A PfCO ensures that the drone operator is qualified (NQE) and has been assessed as competent in theoretical knowledge and airmanship and to be competent to the set standards of practical flight. Flock Cover Insurance provides tailor made insurance for each specific job we undertake.

 

Every flight will be conducted legally, to the standards of the current Air Navigation Order conditions of the PfCO.  Each flight involves creating flight plans and risk assessments, site evaluation, pre / post flight checks and keeping  flight logs as well as battery usage, and aircraft checks. On top of this Every location is checked for NOTAMS which affect a specific area and our ability to fly on that specific day (parachute jumps, glider flights, Helicopter patrols, Low flying aircraft etc)
